TEDxALC is a nonprofit event devoted to spreading ideas in the form of short, powerful talks focused on Technology, Business, Entertainment, Design and Conservation in the African and Mauritian Context. This year’s theme was “Adapting to Shifting Times” which highlighted techniques, methods and experiences in different fields on how to adapt to change and how to position yourself to benefit from it. Featured speakers at this event also included Dr. Nkosana Moyo, former COO of African Development Bank; Jonathan Symmonds, Lead Animator of HBO’s Game of Thrones; Jennifer Webb, CEO of Adecco Mauritius; Nnamdi Oranye, Head of International Remittances for Standard Bank Group and Ryan Findley, Chief Product Officer of ALU, among others.
